The property’s official website and both major platforms give the same address in the Bab Doukkala area of the Medina. The official site describes two connected riads, a spa and a yoga studio linked across the rooftop. That is a property description, not guest evidence.

On location, guest scores are high on both platforms. Tripadvisor’s location sub-rating is 4.7 out of 5. On Booking.com the location sub-score of 8.8 to 8.9 is the lowest of its sub-scores, though still strong. Guests describe being close to Le Jardin Secret and the souks. One Booking.com guest from the Netherlands explained that taxis drop you at a nearby square and the walk from there through narrow alleys took about three minutes by their account. A January 2025 Booking.com reviewer found the street directly outside a little chaotic, while a March 2026 Tripadvisor reviewer described the riad as tucked away and quiet inside.

Architecture and atmosphere are a clear strength. Reviews on Booking.com and Tripadvisor across 2024 to 2026 repeatedly praise the decor, colours and tile work, and the peaceful courtyards. One Tripadvisor reviewer described the silence inside as absolute, which fits the general pattern but not every review (see Rooms).

Arrival and Check-In

Evidence: low to medium

Arrival evidence is thinner than for other topics. A March 2024 Booking.com guest recommended arranging an airport taxi through the riad. A February 2025 Tripadvisor guest reported a private driver for airport pick-up and drop-off at a cost of 20 euros and a taxi stand a few metres away. Booking.com’s listing has shown a free airport shuttle, so the two sources conflict, and current transfer terms should be confirmed with the riad.

Guests generally describe a warm welcome. A September 2026 Tripadvisor reviewer credited a staff member with helping them get through the medina and with restaurant recommendations. The available evidence does not provide enough information to draw a reliable conclusion about check-in speed or luggage handling.

Rooms

Evidence: high for cleanliness and comfort, medium for small rooms, low for air conditioning

Cleanliness and comfort are recurring positives. Tripadvisor’s rooms and sleep quality sub-ratings are 4.6 and 4.7, and Booking.com’s comfort sub-score sits at 9.1 to 9.3 in the snapshots we saw, with its listing highlighting very comfy beds. Reviews from October 2025, January 2026, April 2026 and September 2026 use words like impeccably clean, immaculately clean and spotless. Booking.com Wi-Fi sub-scores ranged from 9.0 to 9.5.

Mixed feedback: room size

Several Booking.com reviewers mentioned small rooms. A January 2025 guest in a Standard Double found it small for two people with two large suitcases and noted a creaky bed. A July 2024 guest said their first room was very small, and an August 2022 guest called the room quite small while still rating the stay 10 out of 10. Other guests praise the rooms without mentioning size. The evidence does not let us compare room categories reliably, so treat size as something to check for your specific room.

Mixed feedback: noise

Guest experiences vary. Tripadvisor reviewers in January and March 2026 describe a very quiet riad. A Booking.com guest reported hearing noise from other rooms while calling the riad peaceful overall, and another Booking.com guest who stayed in December 2024 wished for a mobile-free rooftop because of speakerphone calls. The evidence does not show whether these differences relate to room location or time of year.

Isolated: air conditioning

One undated Booking.com review said the air conditioning was hard to feel in one named room and it was uncomfortably hot at times. No other review we reviewed raised this, so we cannot generalize it. Heating performance is not covered in the accessible evidence.

Bathrooms

The available evidence does not provide enough information to draw a reliable conclusion about bathrooms. One Booking.com guest called the shower great, and cleanliness scores are high on both platforms, but the accessible reviews do not discuss hot water, water pressure, ventilation or toiletries in any detail.

Service is the strongest recurring theme. Booking.com’s staff sub-score was the highest of its categories in both snapshots we saw, at 9.6 and 9.8, and Tripadvisor’s service sub-rating is 4.7. Guests describe staff as friendly, attentive and generous with local advice. Reviewers on Tripadvisor in March, July and September 2026, and on Trip.com, repeatedly name the same staff member, spelled several ways, and a few others by first name. That suggests personal service, though the evidence does not show whether the experience is the same when a particular person is off duty.

Isolated: a recent negative experience

A June 2026 Tripadvisor review from a family rated the stay 2 out of 5 and gave service 1 out of 5. The guests said an earlier breakfast could not be served on site, that the takeaway breakfast they were offered was very thin, and that their concern was laughed off. They also said they were not asked about transport afterwards and mentioned cat hair on terrace cushions. The same reviewer called the on-site breakfast delicious. It is the most recent negative review in what we saw. Among the ten Tripadvisor reviews on the first page we checked, nine were 5 out of 5 and this one was 2 out of 5. At the 251-review snapshot, 15 reviews were rated Poor or Terrible. We cannot tell from this whether it reflects an inconsistency in service or a one-off.

Official description: the property’s website describes an in-house spa with traditional hammam rituals and massages, an indoor yoga studio and a rooftop yoga terrace, cookery classes, and day visits for a lunch and spa experience.

Guest experience: the hammam and massage are praised in Tripadvisor (July 2026) and Trip.com reviews. Guests also mention a sunny roof terrace, and Booking.com guests describe breakfast served on it. A Tripadvisor reviewer from March 2026 mentioned multiple pools and a yoga room, and another guest used a day pass for the facilities. One January 2026 Tripadvisor reviewer said the hammam is included in the price, which we could not confirm.

The pool count and type are not consistent across sources: platforms list an indoor pool, while guests refer to multiple pools. Coffee with the resident cats and tortoise was a calming highlight for one guest, while another complained about cat hair on terrace cushions, which is a genuine split in opinion.

Food and Dining

Breakfast

Breakfast is one of the most repeated positives. Booking.com guests describe it as fresh, varied, colourful and served on the rooftop terrace, and Tripadvisor guests from 2025 and 2026 praise it as fresh and plentiful. The one clear complaint is the June 2026 takeaway breakfast described above, and the same guest praised the on-site version.

Dinner and restaurant

Several Tripadvisor reviewers praise dinner, including a guest who cited excellent variety and presentation in October 2025 and a group that said they tried one of everything on the dinner menu in January 2025. A group hosting a reception at the riad called its breakfasts and tagines the best of their trip. A Trip.com guest described the food as incredible and the value as great. The accessible evidence does not cover dinner prices, dietary options or portion sizes.

Across Booking.com and Tripadvisor, the picture is consistently positive, with a very high proportion of top ratings. Among the nine most recent Booking.com reviews visible to us, from March 2024 to October 2025, individual scores ranged from 8.0 to 10. The strongest evidence points to attentive staff, a clean, characterful riad, and food that guests remember. The main practical cautions are room size in some Standard Double rooms, mixed reports on noise, and uneven detail around airport transfers and amenities. One recent 2-star review shows that hospitality experiences are not identical for every guest, but it is a single voice in the accessible sample.
